Ems79, I understand why you worry about the disappointments and not-quite-perfects of grownup life. But.... this is a kid we're talking about, and one who seems to be really good at celebrating the things she wants to have.

Here's the post I mentioned about back when she was four and worked for two months to earn a dress she wanted:

She wore that dress until the thing was torn, tattered, battered, and finally so small that it was embarrassing. She loved it the entire time, even when it got ripped (just a little) just after she bought it.

So yes, she won't like all the rules and the first time she drops it will be a panic. But I think we'll make it through it all okay.
