Newer accounts at E*Trade can’t download the results of a bond search directly into a spreadsheet, whereas “grandfathered” accounts can. Yesterday, ET seems to have changed their search engine. I’m now seeing made available to me the same DOWNLOAD button as before. But I’m wondering if that feature has now been extended to newer accounts, as it most certainly should be.

A favor, please? Would someone who has a newer account at E*Trade check to see if they can now download the result of a bond search? If that is the case, then bond beginners will have a much easier time of it as they try to learn the game.

Explanation: Zions Direct now enables downloads, but their output requires more formatting than ET's. So, though I'll execute through Zions when it is convenient to do so, I do all of my spreadsheet work using ET's data, because its formatting is easier to deal with.
