Evaporative Cooler Water... The water automatically drains after a certain number of hours of operation... Is this water safe for lawns?

My take is no. It is not ok for trees and it is not ok for the lawn because it is too salty - probably with a salt density higher than sea water!

And I wouldn't blame the birds and squirrels for the failure of the fruit trees - it was the evaporative cooler water that caused the fruit trees to fail.

And apologies for the intrusion - I found a post in the Best of.
