My credit card company will double the manufacturer's warranty up to one year. I have a microwave oven that broke last week. It was purchased 18 months ago and the microwave had a 12 month warranty. Yesterday, I requested a claim form from the credit card company. They took my information and emailed me the form with some sections already filled out.

Has anyone ever been successful with a claim? What do you guess are my chances of succeeding in them either covering the repair or original purchase price?
