February was a short month, and some items did not hit this report that will show up as a double payment in March due to some timing issues. I did well in some aspects and bad in others, especially dining, recreation and entertainment. I am still getting the hang of certain habits while doing well with others.

The bowling season ends in May and this should help out greatly by either adding to my snowball or to juice up my savings depending on my situation. This could increase my snowball for the months of May through August for sure, and possibly indefinitely. This is because I have also started doing some longer range planning to reduce expenses with bowling, dining out, and entertainment. This will be accomplished mostly by giving up one league next season and going to less-than-full-time in another, which will save ~$600/year directly, and also some indirect dining and recreation costs related to eating/drinking at the lanes, going to the bar after bowling, etc.

Overall, I am pleased I am making some strides with checking my budget more frequently, doing well with some habits, improving others steadily, and planning for the next few months. In many ways, it is even a little bit of fun seeing where I screwed up but also come up with a plan to fix the problems that inevitably develop.

Thanks again to all the Fools who have helped me out along the past few months. I don't think you guys can ever be thanked enough.

Fool on,
