I have been reading quite a bit on this message board and I have not seen the answer to the question I have so I thought I would post it. When wanting to use the FF as an Roth IRA, do the dividends automatically get reinvested or do you have to pay taxes on the dividends? Also, the same question with the capital gains if you have to sell one of the stocks. The reason I ask is because it is supposed to be a tax free vehicle to invest and I don't see how you can avoid paying taxes on dividends. Thank you in advance for your answers.
