Hello Roy,

This is my real life case. I want to know what you think my best filing option may be.

I am in the US on an H1-B and file as a resident as I am here for more than 183 days for the year.
Now for the twists. I am getting married to a foreigner on the 30th December. Who did not live with me for the last six months.
Also my parents are US residents on green card status, but they have been in my home country (Trinidad) for the majority of the year. I can verify that their gross is less than $2700 each (retired), and I pay a substantial amount for their maintenance.
Can I file under Head of Household status?
If not what is my best option?
