Hi guys! I just recently found out about this board....perhaps too late (since its now "after the fact"). But is a special day for me....

Today...I retired. :D

I'm 57. Not an impressively early age by the targets some of you have, but it's a great (and strange) feeling to be retired finally and I just wanted to encourage you guys to keep it up and not "grow weary".

I've been an investor for about 45 years, which would suggest that I "should" have been able to retire earlier, but I've been clawing my way back since '93 from a failed business that almost bankrupted me. Seventeen years's time to celebrate! And your day will come as well. :)
