About four months ago, I was on Yahoo, and accidentally clicked on The Motley Fool link. I looked around a few minutes and saw the upcoming BioTechnology Seminar, which I signed up for. Three seminars and 1000 posts later, here I am, very pleased with the fact that I now have a Big Red Star next to my name.

I have met many new friends on TMF, but moreover, I have completely changed my thinking on how I manage my investments, plan for retirement, plan to pay for my kids college educations, etc. etc. After 45 years of being lucky and blessed, I am finally taking control of my finances and my investments. In the past 4 months, I have restructured my 401 (k), my IRA's, and my personal portfolio. I have a goal for early retirement, and it's not just a time goal, but a lifestyle goal.

I am deep into my study of Technical Analysis, and I am also learning Mechanical Investing. With the help of TMF, I have identified several Rule Breaker stocks which I believe will be big winners in the future. The financial education I have gotten in the past four months is better than an advanced degree. I can honestly say I've learned more in the last four months about evaluating companies than I learned while getting an MBA.

Thanks to all my good friends at GMR, GMS, and those in my Seminar Teams (Biotech, Retirement, and Rule Breaker). Thanks to the TMF staff, whose knowledge never ceases to amaze me. Thanks to my friends on the stock boards (CREE, RMBS, RHAT, etc.)

Now, if I don't get kicked off GMS because of the "content" in this post, I'll see everyone on the boards and hopefully in a year or so, I'll have a gold star next to my name.
