Back on September 1st, I ordered a box of Hornady bullets for my .204 Rugar (See; ). On 9/2, I got a e-mail from Sinclair that they were on backordered and that they would be shipped ASAP. On December 10th, I got a e-mail from Brownells (Sinclair sold out to them a couple of years ago) that said “As you know, the firearms industry continues to struggle with inventory issues as a result of this never-before-seen worldwide demand. We’re proud to report that we’ve made incredible gains on much of our high-demand inventory; however, ammunition, reloading components and some other firearm accessories remain in frustratingly short supply.

Yesterday, I received a e-mail from Sinclair that my order was shipped and, checking with UPS, I can expect it at my door on March 26th. Only seven months to receive my bullets. Maybe by this time next year I can get some powder and 17-rimfire ammo, yes.
