I am a college student and I want to get my own apartment within the next year or so. I have a job but my finances are unstable because I work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. Beacuse of this it seems impossible to save. I try to save every dime I have left after paying my phone, internet and traportation bills. But no matter what it seems that I'm still not able to save a sufficient amount. I haven't been able to find any posts that discuss this question. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can more efficiently save my money to make it work for me instead of give me a headache?
Also I wanted to ask, how much should I expect to have saved before I venture out to find an apartment?
