Not long ago I was told how to find the price of a stock on any given day, in the past of course. I have lost that info. can anyone help me here?

Put the company name or ticker in the box, click on Get Quotes, then click on Historical Prices on the left side of the next screen and pick a date.

But watch out! depending on what you need the price for, I know Yahoo adjusts their historic prices for stock splits. You have to check the box that says you don't want it adjusted for stock splits if you want the true price on certain day.

But watch out! depending on what you need the price for, I know Yahoo adjusts their historic prices for stock splits.

They show both the actual historic price and a price adjusted for splits and dividends. You do have to read the right column for your purposes.
