Apple CEO on iPhone sales drop: 'Yes, I do think that price is a factor'
Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the company has started to cut iPhone prices in some territories in an attempt to boost falling sales.

Does anyone here believe China cellphone manufacturers would have any concerns of suicides in their factories?

The electric vehicle industry needs to "make the world's first completely ethical battery with five years," human rights watchdog Amnesty International said on Thursday. The London-based organization accused electric automakers of failing to curb human rights abuses, including child labor, linked to the mining of key minerals needed for batteries.

Electric car demand is expected to skyrocket, increasing by "more than thirtyfold by 2030," according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. As such, demand for lithium — a key component in electronics — is expected to increase dramatically over the next decade.

Elon's cars are purty pricey now. If he & others must comply this means higher prices. Likely not for China EVs as I believe they have zero concerns over Western civilization namby pamby hand wringing over human rights abuses. And likely many Western developed nations consumers will buy cheap well made toys as long as they do not have to see the abuses.

Is that unfair competition? Nah. That's business as usual for the Chinese.
