First of all, Star Wars was hyped to topple Titanic at the box office. If they do great, remarkable, but DON'T topple the big Cameron ship, will the brokers look at this as a disappointment for HAS?
Probably, yes. BUT if you are intending to hold long-term, it may just be a BUY opportunity for you.

Secondly, and more to the subject: Just for grins, can anyone tell me anything negative about HAS? Is there one fly that could land in the proverbial ointment...at all, over the next five years? My thinking there isn't a fly to be seen has my High on HAS, but I defer to those with more experience. Let's hear it.

In my opinion, the largest long-term downside is that it does not have an unlimited upside. The toy industry is not going to grow tremendously over the next 5 years, so although HAS is, in my opinion, a very good company, they are not going to be showing tremendous growth. They may outperform "the market" but the are not going to make anyone tremendously rich (other than George Lucas, who was already pretty rich to start with).

I would not put all my eggs in HAS, it is a nice addition (medium-sized position) to my portfolio that I enjoy having and intend to keep for quite a while.

Just my thoughts.
