I think it brings up an interesting question. How long should one look back at dividend increases? I remember TE had a very long history of dividend increases before they cut the dividend and haven’t been the same since (5yr dividend growth rate of -11.12%). MRK has a very long history of dividend increases but the 5yr dividend growth rate is 1.95%.
BAC, one of the youngsters on your list, has a 5yr Dividend Growth rate of 13.21%.
HD, not on the list, has a 5yr dividend growth rate of 31.76%.

I think dividend history is important, as well as the growth rate but I wonder what other members of this board think.
