I'm about to do my first tile job ever this Friday! My in-laws have a small bathroom in the basement that they'll let me experiment on. I bought a cheap 7" table top tile saw from Harbor Freight a while back and a pretty good book ( The tile will be 6" squares in area about 4x4 feet. The floor is concrete and my FIL says it's not level. I was thinking of having him level it with some concrete before Friday, so that I could get going right away. Would this be a good prep idea or just use the grout to level it? I should probably refer to the book, but since I'm here... :)
