Flash memory is generally rated for a number of erase cycles before it is considered 'used up'. Typically on the order of 100k cycles for a given bit. Assuming the controller distributes your data randomly as you write and modify data, this is an eternity. The average user is far more likely to damage, lose, or break the flash drive well before wearing out the internal flash part.
