The "teeter-totter" method has intuitive appeal for seeming to offer the chance to always be making money, up market or down.

However, I find that the method --Stop-and-Reverse, or SAR or short, which is not the same as Wilder's SAR indicator, though it could be used to implement the SAR method, as could 2 MA X-overs, etc.) --doesn't work for me, for always be late to get in or out, never mind the chop that has to be suffered in sideways markets, when some options strategies that bet on prices not changing much become more useful.
