for light baseball history reading, its "Sleeper Cars and Flannel Uniforms" Elden Auker and Tom Keegan, Triumph Books, 2006. Eldon Auker was born in 1910. No doubt this book was in the making well before 2006...might even be around elsewhere with a different publisher at a much earlier date. My paperback copy says 2006. The Overstory by Richard Powers was a great read. Both books can be found and paid for at Barnes and Nobel, or amazon. For more unpleasant reads: https://1lib.eu/book/5622270/2dd787 https://1lib.eu/book/5578138/dd5ae4 the links above are for those that are curious about what a few writers have to say, but don't want to buy their books. I don't normally do such a thing. Both easily read with sumatra pdf. Bolton got a 7-figure advance, so the horse is already out the barn door in that case.
