Hey Ish -
Today, my last blog post of NaBloPoMo was published. I think it sums up my experience quite nicely - it's kind of a short ode to writers. Make me think of you!

Thanks,

Nice post.

Consistency is my biggest problem with writing. I'll write well for days, sometimes weeks, and then just completely dry up and dread the idea of attempting to write.

I feel like if I could develop some consistency, I might be pretty good at it.

But 30 posts in 30 days is a huge goal, as you found out.

If I make 2-3 per week, on any of my blogs, I feel good.

Yeah, 30 in 30 was a huge goal. I would have comem really close if I hadn't had the whole eye doctor crap consuming 2 weeks of my life. This week, I just sat down and wrote 5 posts on Sunday and scheduled them to release each day. THAT was awesome. I think that if I can set aside time every couple of weeks to write some inventory it will be a lot easier to keep up blogging than it is to really write every day.

I have gotten some really interesting feedback on my "voice" when I write that I'm still mulling over. I haven't totally figured out what I want this blog to be, or how to engage a broader audience, but i think I would like to. It's more fun for me to think about writing for an audience than writing for myself.

maybe there is a book of essays in here somewhere....

In no particular order:

"Mutterings of a Mathaholic"

"Calculated Ramblings...math is predictable, life is not"
(crap, the primary name is taken at Blogspot)

"Chaos and Calculations"

"Ishtar's Diary"

"Calculated Nonsense"

"Life's Not Calculated"

"Calculated Observations"

"Life Uncalculated"

"Ishtarisms"

Hell I'm lucky to write in my journal for 5 days out of 7 (I'm trying) but at this point I"m maybe just trying to remember what I did that day, or what I need to do the next.

Its a miniscule start but its something.
