For over a decade Oracle revenue is flat.

- Their flagship product is database and it is insanely priced
- They let Siebel, Benioff walk out and become competitors
- They bought (hostile takeover) PeopleSoft, and basically funded Workday
- They completely missed Cloud, SaaS

One can view that Oracle has managed not to lose revenue like IBM. Of course they have bought so many companies, but still. They managed to retire 2.2 billion shares over the last decade and increased their debt by $32B in the last 5 years.

With Mark Hurd passing away and Kurian going to GCP, the bench is pretty thin. There are lot of customers depend on Oracle products. For their sake, let us hope Oracle can get their act together.
