For sure, BRK.A needs to be on our "to buy" list. It was priced right just a couple of years ago when it dropped to $63,000/share. Since then, it has soared back to $95,000/share...a CAGR of over 35%! That beats BRK.A's CAGR all to heck.

However, looking at a log chart of all dates, it does not seem to be the old BRK.A of years ago. It had a nice strong up slope to about 1998, then has been pretty flat since then.

BRK.A got up to $82,000 in 1998, then down to $63,000 several times in 1998, soared up to $80,000 again in 1999, then plunged to around $42,000 in 2000, went up and now is down to $87,000.
