For the Dec2020-Jan2021 stimulus monies,, I did NOT get a direct deposit, nor a debit card, nor a paper snail mail check for $600... by Jan 15, 2021.

Yes, I was aware that some folks were supposedly throwing away the debit card or paper check. I kept an eye out for any suspicious mail.

Around Jan 10 or so, I saw a notice saying that if one had not received the stimulus money by Jan 15/16, then s/he would have to get it via a refund on their tax filing.

Today, I finished my 2020 taxes, using Turbo Tax, and e-filed.
One of the final sections asked about stimulus monies, and I was able to add the $600 to the refund.

Next step is for IRS to "accept" the tax filing.

So, once that happens and the refund is direct deposited to my account, I will have received it.
See the "future" wording...
