My wife died on 15 January 2019 and I will need to file Form 1041 and Form 541 with the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board, respectively, for her estate's 2019 Tax Year in 2020.

On 17 January 2019, her Social Security Spousal benefit for December 2018 was deposited in our joint account at our credit union. Do I report this income on Form 1041 and Form 541?

Or, do I report the income on Form 1040 and Form 540 that will be filed in 2020 as our last MFJ tax return?
