Fools,

This was probably mentioned in previous posts but Tsi was at one time a "Foolish 8" pick and that's how I decided to pick up 100 shares before the split.

The Foolish 8 criteria is basically a stock screen that looks at eight different categories (Relative Strength, Minimum price, Daily Dollar Volume, Sales/Earnings Growth, Revenues, Profit Margins, Insider Holdings, Positive Cash Flow) and if a stock meets or exceeds the benchmark for each category it makes the list. It eventually got dropped from the list I assume for lack of earnings growth and/or declining relative strength.

Here's a brief description of their business:

TSI International Software wants your data to come together ... right now. The company's interfacing software integrates various business applications within an organization and with external business partners.

Its flagship Mercator line integrates data among multiple applications and enables complete data transformations. Trading Partner lets customers communicate with partners through direct connections, value-added networks, or the Internet. TSI also supports its legacy KEY/MASTER data entry software, and offers support services for its other products.

Customers include Citicorp, General Motors, IBM, and Nestle. In 1999 TSI bought Braid Group, one of the UK's leading financial-transaction software companies.

Earnings come out tomorrow so I'll be interested in seeing this report. Hope that helps.
