Any sane person (that is, any non-Trumpian) knows that Fox News resides in some kind of alternate universe where up is down, black is white, and lie is truth, but watching them gleefully celebrate over the Mueller report release, indignantly exclaiming "vindication" and "exoneration", feels even more bizarre than usual. My personal favorite is Laura Ingraham's demand of an apology from the rest of the media, from Democrats and, well, pretty much everyone else, for thinking nasty thoughts about Trump and Fox News all this time.

One has to wonder if these people actually believe what they say. Or are they essentially just actors, playing roles? Because watching the news over the past 24 hours - real news - it appears pretty obvious to moi that the Mueller report, even this redacted version, is incredibly damning of the Trump campaign, the Trump administration and especially of Trump himself, who apparently has absolutely no problem asking others to break the law in order to protect himself because, heck, he'll just pardon them later.

That anyone could possibly think this scathing report is a vindication and exoneration is just further evidence that Trumpians, especially those that are supposedly professional journalists, will forever remain Trumpians, no matter what. Hell, I bet Trump could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot someone and Laura Ingraham would demand an apology from the victim.
