One of the things I limited myself to in retirement, was too many trips to the coffe shops. Borders and Barnes and Nobles are the two most common here. I really enjoy browsing through their books and then drinking something special and new at the cafe. The Biscotti is only a dollar.

Well, yesterday, I had a treat. Free coffee and good conversation. I brought my rolled coins in yesterday. I had to wait for the teller. They gave me fresh coffe with amaretto creamer. There were several of us and we shared some interesting stories.

The next bank, where I looked into re mortgaging options, gave me coffee and a choice of three types of cookies! And I learned a lot about the cd rates and special accounts offered to retired individuals.
