To any Dumpster Divers in Atlanta area, I have a sleeper sofa up for grabs. It definitely needs recovering and new pillows, but the sofa itself and the pull-out bed are both fine. We broke down and bought new furniture.
If nobody grabs it, you could get a nice tax deduction by donating it to a shelter or someplace like that. I hate to see useful stuff go to waste.phantomdiver

I hate to see useful stuff go to waste.I plan on that, I thought I'd give the DD's in Ga first crack. I agree, I hate seeing good stuff go to waste. Hubby and I are a couple of pack-rats, though, and it is starting to get difficult to move through the house. You should have seen when we first moved in together. We both had 3 bedroom houses filled with furniture. We've given away 3 sofas and still have 5 left including the one I'm getting rid of. We've given away 4 bureaus and/or dressers, and still have 4 left besides the actual sets that are in use (3 full bedroom sets). At one point, we had something like 23 computers besides the 7 we actually use. I have a friend that says whenever she needs something, no matter what it is, she comes over here. We really do have to get rid of stuff occasionally.
