Who recommends spreading your annual contribution out over the full 12 months to ensure you get the full employer matching...

Correct me if I am wrong here but the company has say a 9% matching contribution. Lets start next year for example. Now if I contribute 9% by say August of next year, then the companies match of 9% is maxed out right?

Then any further contribution will be what I decide to put in?
