FWIW, my doctor recommends a Body Mass Index of ~ 18.5.

I think that low a weight is a bit daft and I doubt there are any notable health benefits to doing it either.

I'd need to be close to 10 lbs lighter than I am now to make that number and it'd be a struggle.....and I'm not someone who's ever been fat, built up a big store of fat cells with all those "feed me" hormones messing with my head.

I fancy attempts to diet down to this rather than something that's a bit more attainable would be more likely to sabotage an otherwise good eating plan than help.
