FWIW, Rain-X worked great, until I went to the "touchless" car wash and opted for the Wax option.. it leaves a extremely thin layer over the whole car, windows and all, and the next time I used the windshield washer/wipers it fogged, smeared, almost to the point of not seeing.. So I quit using Rain-X.. Not sure what the drive through car washes use, but there was a conflict of interests, for sure! Seeing is good!
