I recently got to this board through the "Best Of" board. I don't personally have any fertility problems right now, but recently ran into some research and information that some of you might find interesting. I would assume that the average Reproductive Endocrimologist is up on this, but you never know. Basically what it indicates is that the blood tests for hypothyroidism are sometimes inaccurate and it is thought that there are large amounts of people, especially women, that are hypothyroid and are not diagnosed. (as you may know, hypothyroidism can cause fertility problems) The information also outlines a basal temperature test that can be an alternate method to diagnose hypothyroidism.
