Getting a hold of Schwab has never been that much of a hassle for me. If there is ever extended hold times, Schwab offers up the "call back later" feature which is usually pretty quick.

Interactive Brokers was a bit more of a hassle than Schwab IMO---those are the only two data points I've got. I don't think I'll be sticking with Interactive Brokers for a variety of reasons---mostly I'm not enamored with their interface and don't perceive any benefits over Schwab.
