The negative press coverage of this industry cracks me up. Have you noticed articles about this group almost always end with a negative statement? Today is no exception.

"Investors are contemplating virulent price competition
in a flat vehicle market while worrying about the possibility of higher short term interest rates."

Balanced by: "But the negativity is tempered by continued strong earnings power, cash flow and dividend payments."

Topped off by: "On balance the stock group's outlook is underwhelming."

Are we supposed to believe that the industry is not prepared to cope with a 14 million sales year -- this year or next? In light of constant bad press are we being brainwashed into thinking U. S. auto stocks should be dumped now?

Maybe, but the charts look pretty good to me.
