Given toyota's generally better reputation for reliability, greater experience with hybrids, and the escape's below-average reputation for reliability, aren't you at least somewhat concerned about the combinatin of ford vehicle+relatively trouble prone ford+hybrid? that seems to me quite a combination for time in the shop. i like toyota a lot, but even so i still question the premium paid for them on some models. on a hybrid though i wouldnt hesitate to pay a considerable premium for their experience building them.
