Go figure - you said it !!! Here is another example: EFX on TSE is one of my largest holdings. Just today they reported FY97 final figures. Numbers came in as highest recorded, return on equity goes from 31% in '96 to 38% in '97, company is increasing dividend by 33.3%, company is repurchasing it's stock, back log of orders is at the highest level ever, market penetration and acceptance is growing, and.... stock price is off. Like you said, go figure...
By the way: EFX is (indirectly) natural gas play. They manufacture, service and rent/lease compressor systems to natural gas industry (CDN$336 mm in revenues for '97).
