Goaltender95,
If it works and it feels good, do it. However, when it doesn't work and it doesn't work badly where does one turn. One can say, "that's life", "S'it Happens" and shrug it of to another loss. If that is your way and you are satisfied with it, Fool On. However, I personally like to have a basis upon which to rest my successes and failures upon. That way I can improve upon my techniques. I have a better chance of not making the same error over and over. I can sleep better at night. I can live with a sense of accomplishment.
All of the above are not necessarily things every one would aspire to, but perhaps some would like that security. Each should make his or her own choices. Once again if it works, do it, do it, do it.

Most of all have fun while you're doing it.
