Going back over some old posts, and fell upon this one. What ended up happening in this case? When exactly did the market bottom?

For the Nasdaq 100 - 4/20/2005 after a drop of -13.56% from the high on 12/14/2004.

For the Russell 2000 - 4/28/2005 after a drop of -12.15% from the high on 12/28/2004.

Most of the major indexes bottomed on 4/20/2005: The Dow, the S&P 500, The Dow 65,

The S&P 400 bottomed on 4/15/2005, while the S&P 600 bottomed on 4/28/2005.

I'm inclined to think the statistical significance of the top post proved helpful.
