For those who may not yet know it, CNN has closed down its 'CNN Airport Network' effective March 31.

After 31 years of airport news recognition in 54 airports on over 1800 screens, CNN is pulling the plug. This is due to complaining Air Port travelers who are sick of the CNN crapola and so bring their own phones with their own streaming services installed and wear ear plugs while waiting, and almost certainly due to lost revenue from decreased viewers and so decreased ad revenues in addition to what CNN pays airports to run their programming. This is projected to result in laying off about 25 full time CNN employees at their HQ in Atlanta.

And this is on the heels of the shut down of CNN's "Great Big Story" video unit in September.

Couldn't have happened too soon.

I'll bet Zucker gets a bonus for this
