Good evening!Our diabetic daughter is 2, so the whole school angle is something we have yet to tackle. I'm sorry I can't help you directly.However, I do work in a hospital and have HIPPA regs burned into my skull annually by people who have no sense of humor. Remember that the general rule about HIPPA compliance is "minimum necessary to do your job." I would think that the school nurse knows what information is needed in order to do the school nursing job. There's probably a thick regulation book about it on some shelf gathering dust right this very moment.If I were going through this myself, I would ask the nurse which records are needed and request and supply them myself, rather than sign over her entire medical history.Best wishes!RandyP.S.
