Good rant. I agree that a. Analysts hold way too much sway over shortterm share price, and b. the bloodletting for poor earnings nos. has gotten out of hand (see Apple and Intel).
Am considering picking up 100 shares of JAKK at $6 (why not?), question:
In your JAKK research, did you find any recent weakness in qtr-qtr sales growth? How about inventory? Do a flowie ratio (Current Assets - cash)/(Current Liab - S.t. Debt) and let me know what this looks like.
These are weird times for the market, man. Good opportunity for bottom-feeding buying though.
