One of the "scary" things about going over the "fiscal cliff" was the doubling of milk prices, from about $3.50 to $7 a gallon, because of the end of dairy subsidies.

Does this mean that the federal government is subsidizing every gallon of milk sold in the U.S. to the tune of $3.50 a pop?

How do free-marketeers justify this massive government welfare program? It's an outrageous transfer of wealth from the general taxpaying public to dairy farmers and milk drinkers. Talk about mooooo-chers!!!

The stuff's not even good for you. It's designed to increase the weight of baby cows by 100 pounds a month.
