Got word tonight my employer is suspending the 401k match in a month or two. DW and I will be fine, but its a bit hard to stomach effectively a 9% pay cut.

9% ain't bad. Mine was suspended very quickly after covid initially started, but the match was only 4%. Of course, they told us at the same time that based on 1Q numbers, we wouldn't hit any of our bonus targets this year. My bonus is typically in the 12-15% range. Probably won't change the date
I retire, but it is at least a short term reduction in compensation...
