Hi fellow FIRE seekers.

I am 50 y.o. and hopefully within a couple of years I will be able to comnfortably FIRE. I encourage everyone to follow the standard advice of LBYM, saving consistently, etc. to achieve FIRE.

I also would like to recommend the early Fool FIRE board discussions (the first 10-15k of posts) as a GREAT resource for all FIRE wannabe's.

I have spent a fair amount of time recently rerusing the first 10,000-15,000 posts in the REHP board. Although the current REHP gets a little off topic at times, many of the early posters are still active, and can still answer questions, give insight, etc., to the whole process. By persusing the early posts you can see how many FIRE topics (safe withdrawals rates, efficient frontier/allocation, time issues and the personal side of FIRE, etc.) were well discussed and explained.

Check out the early FIRE boards and use them as a great resource!!!
