Greetings,

I tried to reply yesterday, but for whatever reason I
could not log on. I only mention that as my response
yesterday may have spared "tconi" the time taken to reply.

In any case . . . what I wanted to say yesterday was thanks
for doing the poll. I was one of those who voted, just now, for the
last one, which was a vote saying that I am certain now that
I would not go and I would not be changing my mind.

And the second thing I was going to say yesterday was that
the happy couple sent an email to everyone yesterday that they
have decided to cancel the wedding. They wrote that they
will marry in June 2021.

What interests me, slightly, about their 2021 decision is how starkly
it contrasts with that of another couple I know, whose wedding was set
for a date this August. They called it off a month ago due to COVID,
and let everyone know that they will be getting married this summer, but
will have the big celebratory dinner etc. in the 2021 summer.
(The two couples are in the same age group -- early 30s.)

Best,
Tomjet
