Greetings, Shanaynay2, and welcome. You asked:

Is there any other assistance available for her that I could help her apply for?

Sorry to hear about your Mom's situation. From experience I know how difficult it is to cope with that kind of parental situation. As to assistance, it sounds as if economically she could qualify for Medicaid at-home assistance. That's up to Texas authorities, so you should begin your quest with the appropriate state officials. Also, you might want to check the local office of the Area Agency on Aging to see what services may be available in her area.

I hope things work out well for you.
