The company charts on the new CAPS give a comparison of company growth and the GSPC, therefore what is the GSPC?

Ah, in that case the GSPC would be the S & P 500 as for example http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=3m&s=%5EGSPC&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=msft shows the GSPC for the S & P 500 as those are the letters of the ticker. Additionally, note that the score for a pick in the CAPS compares that pick to the S & P 500's performance just in case you want a little more information on that.
