When I was working, I was often too busy to go the grocery store. So would depend on grocery chains like Safeway which offer home delivery (for a service fee).

However I retired from work a couple of months ago. Now I have time to do grocery shopping myself. Have recently started shopping at Winco. They don't offer grocery delivery, don't accept credit cards and you have bag your own groceries. But what they offer is low prices. A week's worth of groceries at Winco typically cost less than half then when I was working.

What's your favorite store to shop for groceries at a discount?
