I should know what this stands for but alas, I have forgotten. I looked in the glossary but it is not listed.Help please. Thanks
Greetings,Well if you stick a ^ in front it is the S & P 500 according to http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=%5EGSPC&d=t . Meanwhile there are a couple of other answers from Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GSPC .Those are my 3 guesses as to which you meant as you give NO context for its use.Regards,JB
Sorry I did not give a reference point. The company charts on the new CAPS give a comparison of company growth and the GSPC, therefore what is the GSPC?Thanks so much for your time.
Greetings,The company charts on the new CAPS give a comparison of company growth and the GSPC, therefore what is the GSPC?Ah, in that case the GSPC would be the S & P 500 as for example http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=3m&s=%5EGSPC&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=msft shows the GSPC for the S & P 500 as those are the letters of the ticker. Additionally, note that the score for a pick in the CAPS compares that pick to the S & P 500's performance just in case you want a little more information on that.Regards,JB
