>> I am dreading the upcoming rebalance when it looks like I will have to sell several stocks at 50% losses. Does it make more sense to switch to quarterly rebalance so I can give these still very high rs stocks a chance to recover? <<

I've been wondering the same thing with some RS-O stocks down 50%. I know the theory is "follow the screens... the stocks you'll be buying will also be depressed due to the crash and more likely to go up" but its tough. I may fudge and go to a 2 mo rebalance, but it feels like I'm dancing with the devil of emotional investing.

Hope others jump in.
